For over 10 years Vitalpulse has specialised in renal computing, providing a wide range of software support and development services for renal units across the country.
The company handles support contracts for national bodies including the UK Renal Registry, UK Transplant, The Scottish Renal Registry, and the innovative internet project, Renal Patient View. It provides on-going support for computer systems across the UK. In 2004 Vitalpulse consulted on the definition of the renal dataset for Connecting for Health. It also supplies laboratory and patient administration interfaces and works closely with a range of pharmaceutical companies and dialysis machine manufacturers. Today Vitalpulse software can be found in the majority of UK renal units.

The Way Ahead
Over the past four years their innovative development policy has produced a new application VitalData, that will safeguard the existing investment in renal data for the foreseeable future.
